EA Versions of 2PCG Defenders Cards

I've largely lost interest in VS 2PCG at this point. The ridiculously long wait for OP support, combined with the bungled release of the Defenders expansion, have reaffirmed every negative thought I've ever had about Upper Deck. It's a shame, because the game itself is decent enough, and if it were being marketed by another company I would probably really like it. But it isn't. It doesn't help that I have a sneaking feeling that they are going to release the A-Force expansion, only because it's already done, and then pull the plug on the product.

Nevertheless, I've mustered enough interest in the set to develop custom proxies of all the Defenders cards. I won't bother posting all of them here, but I will post some of my favorite designs. I'll also include links to the rest of them at the end of this blog post.

These are my favorite main character card designs. I particularly like the Alex Ross art for Dr. Strange.

These are my faves among the regular characters. The Mary Walker is noteworthy only because it took me so blasted long to Photoshop the three images together into one.

And here are some plot twists and locations. I especially like the Pain and Suffering.

I also did a few oversized main character card designs, most notably the one at the top of the post. I also like this Ghost Rider.

If you want to see the other regular-sized designs, they are here. Ready-to print versions of them are here. And the oversized card designs are here, mixed in with ones from the base set.
